Brought her home in the rain last Thursday afternoon. (Yes, it actually started after being rained on for about 16 hrs.) Took the photos Friday when I got home from work and left for the weekend before I could get them posted here.

And look at this sheet metal,

Would like to say a special "Thanks" to all who replied to my posts concerning questions I had about Jubilees before I bought this tractor.
The more I look at it, the more I like it.

Looks good. I have a 53 golden Jubilee also and my wife and I love it. I wish I had a loader on mine but maybe someday I will find one. I use the tractor daily and it has not failed me yet. It has been an good investment.

Don,
I always liked the looks of the Jubilee. That cyclops hood makes a statement, kinda like the tail fins on a '57 Chevy.
As far as having a loader on one, I personally didn't need the loader, just wanted the tractor.
The more I think about it though, it might make a good counterweight for the brushhog and vice-versa.

looks like a fine candidate for a restoration. It helps when the tin is in good condition. Saves a lot of time when it is that straight! How is the motor compression and oil pressure? any obvious seal leaks? Looks clean.

9N'er,
Haven't had much time to spend on it yet as far as comp.test, but it does seem to run strong.
It has a loose lower link pin in right trumpet that is seeping oil, and the steering box seal is leaking on one side. No other leaks that a "hobby farmer" can't live with.

That is awfully straight looking sheetmetal! Also really nice that the bottom of the grille didn't get all cut up for the loader pump shaft.

Jim,
The sheet metal was what realy caught my eye the first time I looked at this tractor. One thing did slip past me though. When I looked at tractor, I realized right away that it had two different style treads on rear tires. Checked the size and read "11-28" on one tire. Looked at the new tire on other side several days later, "11.2-28". Not having looked at both tires at the same time, it never dawned on me, until I parked it in the driveway and noticed it lean to one side that the older tire was old enough to have the old tire sizing on it!!!
Live and learn,
