Pat,

I just looked in my Dearborn Side Mount Mower book for the 14-3 and 14-4 models - and I suspect that the later models used the same lift arm bracket/extension. The piece for the mower replaces the whole link that includes the leveling box. It fits into the clevis that the "u-joint" for the leveling box is fastened in to. So once you put on the mower you loose any lifting ability of the 3 point hitch. The pictures show the 11 hole drawbar in place with the stablizing brackets that go up to the top link rocker.

In looking at your bracket, I wonder if it has not been bent from the way it originally made. Surely someone would not have made something that would hit the seat and as you said eventually break it.

Regards,
Larry

thanks for the reply,, so I am figuring on it being a attachment for the mower, I appreciate it, looking at the piece it does not look to be modified,, maybe the neighbors are right . at 6'8" and 310 lbs I should carry my poor lil tractor,, being the seat maybe goes downtoo far,, just kiding,, I dont know why it hit the seat,,although something still is amiss with the seat because even the lift arm still touches it a bit,, I feel a little nip when raised high,,, I will have to look into it,, again thansk for the help, pat

The engineering firm should try out their design, FIRST.

Hi Pat,

Picture 'taken' can be a lot of fun.

Recently I have been taken a lot of CANDID photos during my travels, down here in FLORIDA.

Well, since my CANNON equipment is just too bulky to lug around, I have been usn' those inexpensive throw-away type.

Well, being an old KODAK(tm) student of photography, Rochester, NY., I started usn't their (Kodak) brand of 35 mm. throw away's.

Well, since I don't develope the film until maybe over the winters, I just normally store the canisters in the freezer.

Well, one day I decided to take the camera apart to retrieve the film canister and "AA" battery.
CAUTION: There is, in my opinion, a flaw in the design of the camera. THAT IS: When the last frame is taken, the capacitor in the camera should be discharged automatically. However the capacitor(s) stay charged.

When I opened up the first camera, I got a sever shock when I inadvertinaly touched the electronic board. That shock almost paralyzed my wrist and elbow on my right arm.

So, becareful with those automatic cameras.

FUJI(tm) makes a better arrangement for removing the film and (AA) battery. Just take off the cardboard wrapper around the camera body. On the bottom are little "doors" that open-up to remove the film and battery.

I Notified KODAK(tm) about their product 2 yrs. ago. I QUIT buying their product.
