What's the Difference between Live PTO, and not live PTO? Which one is the 8N?

a live pto is when you can stop the tractor (in place and still have the pto running and a non live pto is when your moving the pto is moving.

What Mike said, and...
It wasn't offered on the 8N. It came out as an option on the NAA. It later became standard on the hundred series.

Live PTO was not standard on the Hundred Series, it was an option. Hundred Series tractors came standard with the 4 speed tranny, single stage clutch and non-live PTO.

Live PTO-push in the clutch and it continues running. Non-live PTO-push in the clutch and it stops.
