Trying to locate a rock rake for the 3pth, and forks fir the Ford fronte end loader.

Stumbled on Landpride RT25 Series for rake at 1300.00

And International brand 7 footer rake (heavy duty brand) for 675.00

York brand is too good for my needs...

What do you know about the International Brand? Too light duty? even though the have light duty and a heavy duty types.

Is it still true with these things...what you pay is what you git?

9N'er,

I have an International Agritech back blade. The feature that I liked best was that it had a sliding offset. Most other brands required one to remove four bolts, move the blade and install the 4 bolts. On a 7 ft blade this comes in handy, because the blade wants to hit the wheels when you turn the blade around. The quality of the blade is good, with one exception. The one big design flaw is that the pins (for the lift arms) are on a curved piece of metal. Therefore they loosen up all the time. If I could weld I would weld a thin plate to the curve so that it make it a flat. Then the pins would not rock back and forth and loosen up. I did break the blade last winter (just got it fixed), but that was my fault. I was trying to plow back frozen snowbanks. I would getting a running start to increase the force on the snowbank. The paint job is low cost. Therefore you may have to repaint with a rattle can every year, just to keep the rust from showing thru.

I would do it again, just because I want the sliding offset. I would also look at the brand that Central tractor sells (King Cutter?)

I purchased a 7' king kutter rock rake about a year ago and have been happy with it,pretty heavy duty. It cost about 400.00 without wheels, I fabricated a set of wheels for it my self.
