I've got a ford 8n with the clutch stuck. How can I get it freed up? Thanks

Do a search on Stuck Clutch. Lots of info. For mine, it took nearly 5 months with the clutch blocked down before I was able to break it loose. You may not want to wait that long just to see. I don't have any visible leaks to cause the clutch to stick, but it did stick during very humid and unusual weather for us. I figure rust was my problem. I left it blocked all winter. The first time I used the tractor after that (clutchless) things popped loose and work great. I keep the clutch pedal blocked down between uses all the time now.

Mine sticks on occassion due to a leaky tranny seal. Haven't gotten around to splitting the tractor, but blocking the clutch down for a little while always seems to free it then after everything warms up it works fine. It is better now that temperature is warmer as the oil is not as thick and sticky. Won't hurt to try.

I would recommend blocking the clutch pedal down for a couple of days. If that doesen't work you'll probably need to split the tractor. There is a remedy that some say will work located in the archives under stuck clutch. It sounds a little hairy and some have requested a video of the process. Because of legal ramifications I rather you look it up than me tell you what to do. I'll leave it up to you. If you do the latter, I would like a video...
