Ok Guys...
I have been reading this board for months, and the info is GREAT...Now I have a question.
I have a 9N with 8N engine, the one piece drag link. I bought 2 covers from my local New Holland dealer CNH AONN3324A, NOT Cheap!
Now I can't get them on. Now I'm not mechanically challanged or anything, but I did't think I would have to modify the drag link end. I did file the shoulder a little to round it but do I have to GRIND down the landing to get these on???

Thanks for all the HELP....

Replaced these on my 8N awhile back. I found these need to be pressed on with a hydraulic press. Remove the drag link and use an appropriate sized peice of pipe or big socket to fit the metal portion of the seal. It will slide right on. Best of luck.

Ditto. I replaced the rear dust seals and front grease cups on both my 8N, and my NAA... the rear ones require hand fitting with a rat tail file. I wouldn't round the edge any more on the link end.. do all the hand fitting to the replaceable seal.

Bevel the metal part of the seal a little it will make it a bit easier to install. I ruined one of mine before I figured they needed a little modification.
