Here's one I haven't yet seen on this forum. Seems like the replacement steering wheels that are offered by many as "original" are not quite like the originals. I bought one for my 841 and it looks and works just fine. However, it seems like the plastic coating is different. Seems lighter and more flexible. No problem with this though. One of my Ford books says in the back that not only does MinnKota in Minnesota repair the spring bushings for the Rest-O-Ride seats they rehab steering wheels. Has anyone had this done? Does it turn out more like the original or like the replacement? What about cost? I know any like myself and Mark H. have tried to repair their steering wheel with epoxy or other fillers. I see several steering wheels out there that need to be stripped, sandblasted and coated and painted. I still have the 740 wheel that will need some help or replacement. I prefer repair because I like to say that these things are original. What do ya'll think?

I repaired mine with some epoxy putty, filed and sanded it to shape, painted it black. Works good so far.
