Can the experst here tell me what may be the problem with this?

Sort of stumped about the rear lift.

With a decent 350-400 pound weight the lift works fine but does leak down to the ground in about 90 minutes after the motor is shut down.

As I drive it in gear the lift with weight slowly drops where it remains about 1/3 way up in position.

As it idles, the lift is staying up just fine. But once I put it in gear, I have to drop the blade down to the ground and then lift it to it's maximum height again.

Thank you in advance.

I would guess that its either the control valve or the relief valve located in the rear of the pump. They are a little hard to get to, you have to take off the inspection plates and reach in..E mail Zane for procedure..

Since you sign as "9N'er" I would take it that we are talking about a 9N. One of the experts on that series will get here soon. In the meantime I would like to say that if your lift is staying up 90 min. after shutdown you sure are not leaking from the top. My 8N is good for less than 20 min.
But remember you do not have "Position Control" on a 9N, a kit is available from "Zane" to give you that option which was only available on the 8N. So you have only full up for transport and down for working, there is no control in between for a choosen set height.
