Can someone tell me how much pressure is too much? I have a 46 2n that reads very near the top of the gauge. Thanks,

(still waiting on the rest of my manuals)

My 52 8n starts with 40 psi at mid throttle.. and while still cold.. I can hit 50.. I think my factor gauge goes to ? 50 or 60? right.... as it warms.. it drops, untill it is about 20 hot idle after being worked.. once I got it to like 16 after running it all day... was when I first got it.. think the oil may have been light.. like 10w30.. has straight 30w in it now.

If you are concerned.. try a new oil gauge just to check.. I got an el-cheapo from autozone for my NAA just to check oil pressure... was like 14.99.. and fit in the same hole.
