hey all, I just bought another tractor, it has a hog, and a back blade,, I thouight it was a n series,, looked her over, and saw it was a ferguson 30,, tin is all good, a little rough in the grille area, but other than that good shape, great tires and runs well, I think I got a pretty good deal, but after buying it, I have not picked it up yet,, I started thinking did I do the right thing with parts, and price, will some of my n series parts fit,, alot look the same,, not sure what I will do with it, but added it to the collection anyway, it was a one owner tractor from a potato\cauliflower farm on LI,, just rambling,, do I need to find another site now too?? have a good day Pat,, one more quick question are they priced the same as say a n series when buying and selling,,l I hope so that is what I based my price on, pat

thanks for the comments, I appreciate it. I took a quick look at the fergie brd, have to really sit down and go through the archives and all, I am going to have to keep this away from my sons 5-10, when they see a new tractor come in they almost never let me sell it or anything,, at least I have an excuse to the wife right ,, hahaha,, gotta have the old iron around, and they get used so that is a plus,, thansk pat,,,

Pat, the Ferguson TO-30 is overhead valve engine and pulls a little better most people think than the N series Ford. Easy to work on with hinged hood. Parts easy to get. Plugs are different, try AutoLite 3116. Check for any cracks in block as they were prone to that if they got too hot. As the other post said, go to the Ferguson board and search the archives for lots of info. The MF dealers have parts for these tractors, as do most of the mail order places. There are boneyards that specialize in Ferguson (e.g., Mac Tractor in Colcord, OK). Email me if you like, as I have several Fergies (and a Ford).

No, haven't been there. You got address and / or phone, or web address, etc? I'm about 5 hrs from Harrisburg (Richmond, VA), but I get up that way some. Thanks.
