I have a Superior loader on my Jubilee. It originally came with a 6' wide bucket. After fighting with the weight and realizing that I couldn't get a decent payload in the bucket before losing rear traction, getting tippy or lifting the rear end I decided to have it cut down. Had a friend with a steady hand on the cutting torch cut it down to 42". Steering (ribbed front tires) and manuverability is significantly improved and I found I could actually get a larger payload in the smaller bucket. As I have a 7' back blade to level, I really havn't missed the extra width on the bucket (yet?). Assume you have the front pump running off the crank. I was going to replace the fan belt until I looked at what was entailed with the pump in place. Anybody know if there is a link belt or other split belt option available?

Greg,

There are many different "link belts" available out there. If you know the belt cross section...( B section??) you can go to any "bearing/ power transmission" distributor in town and they should be able to sell you what you need by the foot.

Nice looking tractor and loader you have there. How well can you steer it with a bucket of gravel?Looks like it could put a severe whompin on those front spindles..
I have a Ford Loader on my 600 and cannot get even half a bucket in and it steers like, well, like it doesn't have power steering, which it does. But then again, it is prettty well whomped also.
What do you use for front tires?

YA BETTA BE MOVING WHEN YA TURNIN. THE FRONT TIRES ARE 15" STREET TIRES WHICH I WAS INFORMED BY THE BOARD TO INCREASE PSI TO 50 TO MAKE HER STEER EASIER. THE RIBED TIRES WOULD REALLY BE A PAIN TO TURN. AND AS ALWAYS NEVER TAKE A FULL BUCKET OF GRAVEL, JUST TAKE A FEW MORE TRIPS. 5 FOOT BUCKET SURE HOLDS A LOT OF BEER THOUGH.
