Hey Guys!

I just received my video from J&D Productions on brake repair for not only the N-series, but several of the later Ford models as well. Dan and Scott walk you through the basics very well. There's no doubt as to just what you need to do to get the job(s) done. They've even designed a nifty tool to install the Sure-Seals on the 9/2Ns. The only things I feel lacking are the details. When they installed the Sure-Seals, it was obvious to me that they had emeryed the axel smooth in the seal area, but they didn't point this out. My 2N has had a frozen right brake shaft since I've had it (I know, I know, I should have taken care of this a long time ago) and I'm sure this isn't a rare problem. I wish they had gone into more problems like this that one might encounter when doing the brake jobs, and how to solve them. I don't think it would have made the video much longer.

Having said that, however, I must rate the video an 8 (out of 10) for overall quality and thoroughness. For those of you who, like me, are hesitant to start a job like this without getting all the information possible beforehand, I recommend this video.

Take care!

Ron

Ron, Thanks for the review. I did my engine rebuild after watching J&D's rebuild video. Like you, I don't want to mess with the brakes until I have seen someone else do it. I'd hate to not have any at all when I am done.
