Someone here sent me an e-mail and now I have this dang pop up service. I would like to get rid of this annoying thing but don't know how. TIA Paul

Did you download anything and install it? Do what Gary says.

I also had some problems with pop-ups and downloaded "Ad-aware" software that helped detect and remove that stuff.

Are you saying it changed your "start up" page when you get onto the internet?
If it changed your start up page and you are using Internet Explorer, go to "tools"....then to "internet options" and you can reset your start up page there.....
Also, you go there and "delete cookies" and also "delete files" which is the button beside "delete cookies".

Also, there is a free program that you can install called "stop the Pop" which will block most of them..... just type "stop the pop" in your web browser search and you should be able to find it.
There is one more free program that can be useful too called "Magic Kilah"...that will get rid of some of the trash too.
