1947 2N Ford. We changed cap, rotor, points, coil, spark plugs, condensor, and spark plug wires. Number 4 cylinder has light spark, sometimes it has good spark. What could it be? We even changed some of these parts twice within a week. Nothing helped. Two years ago changed over to 12 volt system with resistor block. Please post message if anyone has any ideas to fix this problem. Thank You

If you have good wires and good plugs and a good cap and rotor and all connections between the cap and plugs are good, I'd suspect a worn rubbing-block cam lobe in the distributor, a bad distributor shaft bushing or bent shaft. Even a slight wobble could make for erractic spark.

You say only number four has light spark. Look at the sparks on the other cylinders. A good spark on the other cylinders means a bad plug or wire on number four. You need a good white blue spark.
