I have a 8n with a front end loader.A few months ago I had a clogged exhaust port. I added karo, ran it around, then changed the fluid. That fixed the problem, until a few days ago.Now the front cylinders act normal until the last inch then they stop and then the 3 pt. hitch lower. Whats the problem?

Red Beast,
You don't say if the loader is driven from tractor hydraulics or a front pump. From what you say, I presume it's from tractor. Which begs the question, is the 3-point chained down? It shouldn't work at all unless it is. The "last inch" you refer to, is that going up, down or both? Is there a filter in the system and has it been checked? What's the condition and quantity of the trans/differential oil? How does the 3-point behave when the loader isn't being used?
What I'm saying is, I haven't the slightest idea what could be causing the problem. Mine runs off a front mount pump. If you include answers to the above queries and repost, hopefully someone will be able to give you an idea where the "gremlins" are.
Good Luck
Russ
