Hi..

WOULD ANYONE OUT THERE NO IF THE GOVERNOR ON A 8N and 9N are set up the same way in the year of 1939 ? They are both the same years. Also would anyone have pictures of it from a Manuel on how they are supposed to be adjusted ?

I don't get it. The didn't build an 8N til 47-48. Governor off a 1939 9N Ford tractor won't have a place to connect the proof meter out the back. Didn't have proof meters on those older tractors.
Not a lot to setting up that governor except making sure the linkages are free to move and straight. That spring on there should be set up so it has no preload or slack. That can be a booger getting just so.

Well, if I may shed some light on the subject, Sir, the Ford govenors are pretty universal during those productions.
