Ford 2000-1963-fenders

My friend is restoring 1963-Ford 2000 his father bought it new. The fenders look like 1948-1950 -8n fenders, I thought they should be "dish" fenders with script like 601-801. Please help. BURT.

Jim those fenders became standard in 1958 and wre used well into the 1970s, I agree with you and all my orig. brochures prove it. BUT I remember this tractor since new, 3 sons age 50-60 and their mother all say they bought tractor new (the farm is within sight of the dealer), and the fenders have never been change. The tractor has never been off the farm! Its a mystery. The son that is restoring it is a master restorer, he has restored over 50 tractors and over 50 IH trucks. He displays them in his private museum (over 1/2ac. of heated space), with all the extras, signs, gas pumps, toys and much more. Thanks for the photo. BURT.
