Well, I've tried all the larger stores, (Walmart, K-mart, Auto-Zone, Advance and Genuine Auto Parts. No luck. No one ever heard of Marvel Mystery Oil. Thought I'd try NAPA next. Sure would like to find it somewhere. Any ideas?

I would NOT count "Marvel Mystery Oil" as an OT subject on an old tractor site.....My 2 cents worth...DaBrow

If your local Wal-Mart says they can't get it then they are not trying. All the Wal-Marts have or can get it.

I used it to free up a stuck rototiller engine once. Great stuff.

Wal-Mart in Southeast MO carries it. I'm not sure I want to use it again though. Added it to my '47 Plymouth P-15 and seemed to develop a little new oil usage (noticed as smoke in the exhaust) and some new/increased drips.

around here tsc carries it. it's usually with all the 'miracle' cures .none of them worked for me either! most usually have either heavy oil to burn slower or for the break things loose type petroleum distillate to get into the rusted area . seems it's either time for an overhaul if it's burning oil, or if it is something stuck and wont come off , then use the cutting torch to heat up or cut it off.of course that doesnt mean i wont try one. , just they and jb weld have failed every time.

The last bottle I bought was from Murray's about 6 months ago, here in SE Michigan.

That's weird ... because that stuff is available at all those stores in my area (Houston). It is usually over in the section where the STP and regular motor oil is located. O'Reilly(Hi-Lo), Pep-Boys, Autozone, Walmart, all have it around here.
