Stay chains

What are the pro and con for using stay chains(top link to hog).I have two stab bars on 8n.
I made up the stay chain,have not used the bushog
yet Thanks for inf.RobertTnn

Robert..... ...even though the 8N has "position control", I recommend using the height controlling stay-chains for 2 reasons. 1) takes the weight off the hydraulic's.

2nd reason is chains collapse when you raise the hydraulics to go OVER an obstical and will automatically return to your chain pre-set mowing height and you don't have to worry about lookin' behind ya an wonderin' if you're mowing at the right height.

I also recommend you continue to use the stabalizer bars from brushog's lower link pins back to under the tractors fender mounts..... ...Dell

If you rig chains then the hog isn't laying in the gravel when you engage the blade. I like that a lot.
