What is the normal output in amps at normal operating RPM for adequate charge but not to boil the battery. The tractor is a '41 9N with the cutout only.

Figure about 3 amps at half throttle. Hmmmm, wonder where Dell is??

Red Raider..... ...about 3 amps at 1/2 throttle. Adjust charge rate with 3rd brush on endplate of genny..... ....Dell

Thanks Dell and Joel. I will definitely have to turn back the plate to a lower charge. I was running 7 to 9 amps.

Can't answer your question (although I would guess somewhere around 3-5 amps, normal load), but love your handle. That would be Texas Tech Red Raiders, I hope. I'm Big Tech fan from way back.
