I am looking for a stump grinder that can be powered by the PTO on my 8N tractor. Has anybody heard of such a thing?

I just found the one you are looking for. It's at wikco.com/stump.html. It's three pt hitch and good on 15 to 35 hp tractors. It's called a mini stumpbuster I believe.

Paul, I have seen smaller ones at farm shows that would attach nicely to a Ford 8N. Some are even manually operated, so you do not need remote hydraulics, only 2 people to operate. Check the next large farm show or outdoor power equipment show. Louisville has a very nice show every year. Check this link for a smaller stump griner. Philip. Link

Yes, I have one.
Now I have it set up for International 2 point. I use it on a 706.
Every thing is there for 3 point.
It would be to heavy for a Ford.
Don't think you would have enough HP with a small Ford.
I also have 9 Fords, I am not 100% International.
Like all brands of tractors.
