This may be a dumb question, but I need some help.
I have been looking at some old Ford 9Ns. Was the 9N made at different sizes during its production?
Because a couple I looked at were quite a bit smaller than some other ones that I saw. I am talking about its actual physical size. Also which one is typically larger, the 8N or the 9N?
I have a small bit of land and I am really looking for the smaller version. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks....Randy

Don't worry. It's not how big it is it's how you use it. Ask your girlfriend she'll tell ya.

Could you be looking at hundred series?
They are often mistaken for Jubs, but are larger

What the other reply said was true... the basic body castings were nearly identical. What you may be percieving as size differences is wheel stance.

The front axle can be adjustd fairly wide, or narrowed in. The rear wheels can be turned 'out' and give the tractor a wider look too. The 8'ns with looped rims have a few different positions on the turned out/in adjustments.

If you saw one fully adjusted wide, vs one setup 'normal' .. I soppose there might be some 16" - 20" difference.. and that would look bigger..
