I was all set to put the hood ona 59 871 that I am restoring. took the rig into the shop to replace some broken and chipped gears, adjust pull the exle and put a seal in and do some rear lift work etc. And today was the day to go in and put the hood on and then the loader and send it home. Called the place that was dooing the work and the owner said that he had some bad news about the tractor. I'm thinking, "ok, he was going to preplace a seal on the back axle so it must be a cracked trumpet or rear housing..." and he continued to say it's not a bad repair job but it was a set-back. He went on to explain that his son took the tractor outside to park it, and promptly ran the front end into a backhoe and smashed the new re-cored radiator. So it goes...
