I was told a while back that the old Ford I mow ditches with was an 841. It is really hard to find info on an 841. Now I have discovered that the 841 is really an 801 with a 4-speed transmission. Is this correct? Ok, now the real question. Does anyone know where I can get a complete wiring diagram for my 801/841?

Thanks,

Dave(IL)

You are right that an 841 is an 801 with a 4 speed trans. However other 801's had 4 speeds too, such as the 831 and 821 (although I've heard of some 821's with 5 speeds). The 801 designation is the series. Within the 801 series were several models. The model number tells you how it was equipped. The link below to the Vintage Ford Tractor resource helps decipher all this info. This wiring diagram also comes from that site. This is for a gas engine 841 with 6 volt system.
