Does anyone know how the lever is hooked up inside the lift arm housing. My control valve will lock up various positions. I can move the lever up and down with no feel of resistance, but the control valve and arms will not be moving. I would like to know what to expect before tearing into the lift housing. I have no leaks and the pump works great, the linkage just will not work the valve in and out. I have installed a new control valve.,,, No help.

Any ideas...HELP

There is a long coil spring connecting the control yoke to the lift cylinder. It "helps" to pull the yoke forward. I have read that if it breaks or loses tension the resulting problems are similar to yours.

I think you can replace this spring by working through the inspection cover. While this may or may not be the cause of the problems, checking and repairing it (if needed) is much easier than removing the top cover.
