Hi,

I have a 52 8N. My hydaulic lift lever (not sure what it is really called) that is used to lift or lower the 3-point arms, has tension thru about 1/2 of the quadrant. After I move the lever down past the 1/2 point, it just drops to the bottom. Is there a way to adjust this so that I can use the full quadrant for raising or lowering the lift arms? If the lever is in the upper 1/2, it stays put when I let go but will fall if it is in the lower half of the quadrant. So, the raising and lowering of anything is accomplished within the upper half of my quadrant (which I don't think is the way it should be).

Can anyone give me some ideas on this?

Thanks!

Paul

In case you haven't, check your draft control lever to insure it is up. Vertical.HTH

Try to tighten up the acorn nut on the sahft where the lever pivots, if that doesn't work you probably need a new friction disc. part number C5NN518B. Good Luck

It's not really an acorn nut, because the center is open. It is a locknut of sorts.
