Just lost a real good friend to a safety infraction. he was oiling a carnival ride when the car came by & grabbed his long hair & picked him up. Loose clothes & long hair are a danger around moving eguipment. he just got to comfortable working around the rides & ignored one of his own rules. If you must work on or around a PTO shaft or belts turn it off & remove the key. this as made me wake up to some of my bad habits while workin on the combines & other farm equipment. Please play safe out there.

Reminds me of a sad article in newspaper about a week ago of a 9 year old girl. She was riding a go cart and had her long hair wrap around the unprotected shaft behing the seat. It broke her neck and killed her instantly.
