Carb Rebuild - where do the washers go?

I'm in the middle of my 8N carb (Marvel-Schebler)rebuild. I have the so-called "complete" rebuild kit, not the "basic" kit. The kit contains a total of 6 washers/gaskets or washer-like parts. I know where 2 of them go - one is a red thin washer/gasket that goes with the float valve assembly (I know this because it's in a separate package. The other is a thin metal washer/gasket that goes on the main adjustment needle (matches the old one).
I do not know where to place the rest of them, the remaining ones are as follows:
1. White felt gasket
2. Black rubber gasket with a grove
3. Black hard washer/gasket
4. Red hard washer/gasket

Also, on the bottom of my carb body I have the large drain plug and another opening that contains a felt packing (part No. 9N-9694)and the retainer. I thought the packing was crud so I took it out. Now, I realize it's the packing! What can I use to replace the packing. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

No.3 - It's possible that this washer goes with the main discharge nozzle (http://www.ytmag.com/articles/restore/8ncarb/artint231_pg4.htm). Although I thought mine was red.

No.4 - Goes under the metal washer that the spring for the power mixture srew sets on.

Sorry Rick - the site that Dell directed you to doesn't say much about these washers.

Are you sure that the felt packing you removed from the drain plug isn't the old felt washer that may have been misplaced? I'm not sure why a drain plug would need felt packing. Maybe someone else could speak to that.

1. The felt washer goes on the choke shaft under the spring. I buggered mine up and replaced it with 2 layers of felt scavenged from my wife's sewing kit. One layer wasn't enough. I cut two small circles and used a hole punch like you might use for leather work.

2. The washer with the groove goes on the throttle shaft outside the body with the groove facing the body. I think this is to stop air leaks around the shaft.

3. Don't know.

4. Don't know.

Even though he says he can't remember you can thank Dell anyway - I think he told me awhile back.

Rick..... .....on the left sidebar, under Research & Info, is Articles, (click) and halfway down the page under Maintenance and Mechanical is "Step by Step Carburator Overhaul". This is an EXCELLENT pictorial on the M/S TSX 241 Carb used on 8N's. You should find your washer answers buried there, 'cuz I don't remember.

For your convience, I've linked the article for you..... ....respectfully, Dell
