Hey Zane, Do I need to remove the lift cover and work on it in a vise? What about the cam follower I hear about. Could the cam follower be worn and be why the lift raises and lowers some when I jiggle the position control lever. If I have to remove the lift cover I'm probably going to wait until spring when I can get a shed built to work in. I'll contact you then for a jig.
Thanks.

Yes the lift cover has to be removed and placed in a vice is best so you can handle it better when adjusting etc.

This is only a couple of hour job if you have the right tools to do it.

I would recommend that you have a gasket kit and either a set of new piston rings for the ram cylinder or a New NAA piston with the Neoprene ring and leather back up when you take it down.

My kit is strictly for the adjustment and no parts except the adjusting jig and cam follower pin is included.
