Hey guys...thanks for all the posts offering advice. I finally got brave and pulled the carb off my naa and then opened 'er up. Unbelievable amount of crap I found. At least 1 tablespoon of crud..dry and hard. Even a pupa from some bug. Cleaned it all out, put 'er back together and hooked everything up. Charged the battery good beforehand. Ok...fired 'er up and guess what...SHE RUNS LIKE A DREAM!! Way more power and starts on the first crank. I can't wait to try 'er in the morning when it's cold. Somehow I think it's gonna work this time. I am SO happy! And..I did it myself.
Thanks again for all your help. You guys are great!!

Rodger..... ...my ex-wife always claimed I flunked mind reading. Your problem description, altho good, was also consistant with bad sparkies. I hope you will still check your sparkies. Thanks for follow up..... .Dell
