I am wondering if any of you have converted Allis mounted implements to 3 point to use with 8 or 9Ns. I found a plow, corn planter and cultivater. Is there a simple way to use them on Ford 3-point?

I know Allis made their own mounted implements.
After 1939 All the other manufactures were trying to come up with something to compete with the Ferguson 3 point System.
Case had their Eagle Hitch. Don't know what Allis called theirs. 1 point?
A good welder could build an adapter to hook your 3 point to their 1 point and use the Allis implements. You might also do a little advertising and find that you could sell those less common Allis implements for more than you would spend on cheaper Ford/Dearborn implements. Myself, I would not weld on or permantly alter an Allis Mounted implement.
Those Orange tractors go cheaper than our Red Bellies. But those Orange implements sell for some pretty good prices.
Some of the great guys on the implement board might help you further. Good luck

While I'm sure that many implements over the years have been converted, it may be easier just to find the real things... Unless you've got the scrap steel and time.. and a welder / torch.. and don't think the old AC implements are of any value..( heck you might be able to trade them for an old 3pt implement.. etc? )

If you do convert them, keep in mind that the ford N is going to accept 3pt implements based around cat 1 specs.

You'll have to get the right size pins for the lift arms, and build the toplink supports.. and keep the geometry correct.. the distance between the lower pins is about 26" I believe.. or 26.5 .. check it before you start welding.
