Hey, guys... I know it's a long shot, but... before I start cutting into my NAA's foot rest with the hot wrench to fabricate a tool box, does anyone know of any individuals or companies that might already have reproduction tool boxes for sale ?

Gents,

I used Cliff's drawing to create a program for this fancy cutting machine at the metal shop where I work. We will cut a FLAT blank out of stainless sheet and mail it to any one that asks for them at OUR COST of $35.00 each plus shipping and you can have anyone bend it up. (All the high school metal shops here have kids looking for their next project for an easy grade). Sorry about having to charge anything at all. I don't own the place. I just work there.

You ( and me ) and just about every other owner of a NAA or jubilee are also looking.. so get in line!

I ended up cutting a new lid top out of some 3/16'th plate, and used the original hinges. i fabricated the box bottom out of a finely perfed 1/8 metal.. won't hold water like the original one did.

Some buy an old 8n running board and use it for parts to re-manufacturer the box.. etc. If ya got a helder and grinder and chop saw.. pretty much sky's the limit on yer design..

good luck.

I fabricated my toolbox in 304 stainless. I still have not gotten it on the tractor (I am still learning how to weld). But fabricating the box is not terribly difficult. It does help to have a bending brake.

I have an ACAD drawing of the toolbox if anyone is interested. Email me.
