Well, my neighbor loaned me his beat up old 8' disc and I spent 3 hours going back 'n forth in the pasture today. Turned weeds and smelled the earth....wow!! And it sure looks nice to see all those weeds turned over. I'll do it again a couple more times then seed red clover for winter.
Just wanted to share my first experience of using a disc. Sure was fun to make the old Naa get a work out and do what she was intended for.

R, I gotta go with ya there. Some of the old timers here gotta make(or have made in the past) a living with their tractors and some may have lost that great feeling. I really enjoy making a nice flat brown field with my Jubilee. Kinda how I felt getting wind in my face on my Shovelhead. But at least when the beast breaks down now, I'm always close enough to the house to walk home!

Shovelheads! I think that's still the best-sounding engine HD ever made. But, yep, they'd leave you on the side of the road now & then. I'm happy with the new-fangled Evo. The TC88, though, is just too new for me.

Sorry for wandering O/T a bit. Just couldn't resist. :-)

We call 'em troubleheads. I still wouldn't trade mine any more than I'd trade my N's or Jubilee.
Ain't love grand?! Shiny side up!
