I have not seen one on a N. I have seen them used on about any engine they could be made to fit. Its about as good a starter that has ever been made. its small but thinks its a giant. Easy to work on and about the only thing that gives trouble is the two dollar set of contacts. If I had a bad flywheel i would use it as a replacment.
It will crank over a big HP engine were others will not.

An adaptor can be made or bought perhaps.... but think about that 30 HP transmission and 30 HP rear end, do you think they'll last very long?? Be a shame to get that far only to learn that you can blow up the gearing with one pop of the clutch. Even the Funk conversions, especially the flathead V8, needed to be respected.

If someone has had good success with high horsepower conversions, they don't often speak of their success in this forum.... duey

Duey is right. I'm thinking about the third or fourth time you rev that big v8 up you're gonna hear a loud POP in the rearend and then the tractor won't move anymore.
