I'm replacing my fenders on my 8N and will install a tail and work light. My old fenders had no lights attached. I know where the light bracket goes, but is there a preferred location to drill a hole in the fender for the tail and work light wire? Is there any type of grommet available to place in the hole so that the wire does not wear? Thanks much.

If you get the correct repro wire with sheathing, you won't need a grommet. Many folks sell them.

My local "Do It Best" hardware store has both wire loom and generic rubber grommets in various sizes.

There is a knock out for the wire under the light bracket on original fenders.
If you are installing aftermarket fenders look at your old fenders and drill in the same area. You can probably find a grommet that will work. A small length of small hose would work. If you use wire loom you won't need a grommet.
