now for the fun stuff
boy they would see that old tractor coming up the road and it would put a smile on there face, you know why? cleaning the snow from there mail boxes and such. and then they would ask about the tractor and such (BS). some are making pies for us and the others well i never drank so much good stuff in all my life. i was feeling real happy if you know what i mean. i had to park the tractor and take a little nap!!!

I know the feeling. Most around here have little garden tractors that won't push snow at all, let alone clear the streets. I usually go clear out driveways around the neighborhood when the snows hit, and sometimes I drag a mound of gravel when someone orders a dump load for their driveways. The work is easy, and has gotten me some of the best pies and cookies. Not bad pay for getting to play on an old tractor.

The opposite to that story is when I tried to be nice to my neighbors a few years back when we had a snow storm here in GA. The city would only clean the main streets not the side ones like we live on, so I put the scrap blade on the Jubilee and proceeded to clean our street so folks could go to work. Well, they all cussed me cause they then had no excuse not to go to work! No good deed goes unpunished, I suppose. The postman was happy tho.
