where can I get a high torque aluminum head for my 2n. is it worth it. Your input will be greatly appreciated

Phil..... ..the ubiquitous Sherman Bros advertized an alumnimum high compression head. But I've never heard of ennyone admitting to or braggin about having one. And while the 6:1 CR of the flathead N-Engine cries out for more compression, you won't get much from "millin' the head". Its a physical limitation of the flathead design.

Howsomevers, if'n yer lookin' fer an interesting way to increase the compression of your flathead engine, SUPERCHARGE IT. Get a Chevy V-8 454 big engine SMOG PUMP outta junkyard barrel for $20 and a NAA Marvel/Schebler carburator so they they line up and figger out some bracketts and have at it. Oh yeah, check out some hot-rod books on supercharging so you know what yer doin'..... ....Dell
