Ok. I know this is the wrong place to ask about International tractors, but you all seem to have information or know where information can be found. My bro-in-law needs help with the clutch. His clutch is not dis-engaging. It feels like it is working fine, but when motor is running, gears can't be shifted. (He pulled into his garage and couldn't stop by pushing in the clutch pedal and had to kill engine after damaging the garage) Is the clutch system strictly mechanical or is there a hydraulic connection (slave cylinder?) I am relating this information as it is being passed on to me and do not have any personal experience with this tractor. Thanks for any info...Ron

Ron -- Whether they're painted Red, Green, or Grey the mechanics of operation are similar and "stuck clutches" are not that uncommon on any tractor that sets unused a lot. This problem has been discussed quite a bit on this forum. Go to "archives" and search "clutch" or something similar. You'll find lots of disscussion, experiences, solutions, and opinions -- most of it can be applied to your problem one way or another. --Cap--
