Painting my 52 8N. I used the red from TSC and it looks good now. After I painted it a couple of months ago, I started seeing bad reports about the TSC paint on this board. Just now started on the gray, so I bought it at NAPA. Now thinking about going back and respraying the red with NAPA red. The tractor stays inside and will no longer be used for work. Let me hear what you guys think.

I highley recommend Wal-Mart "rattle-can", sale price 98 cents a can in various colors.

From some of the posts we have had recently, various colors is no joke.

All kidding aside I have an old can of Ford "8N RED" spray paint that came with my tractor. It looks pretty good! I used it to paint a new drawbar.

Best paint job I ever saw used

Ford-New Holland Gray #mij-957
Diamond Vogel Red #141959

I'm sure there are many others!

Good Luck!

Alkyd implement enamel tends to fade more quickly than acrylic, but it's what was used originally. If you're happy with the red, leave it alone and see how it looks in 5-6 years.
