Ok top plate off on the work bench going good till I tried to get the yoke off the spring shaft, seems to be frozen and don't move. Next is the shaft. Do you have to press it out or dose it float on splines like the arms? The arms weren't that hard to get off. Thanks Larry 49 8n

Larry I meant heat on ram arm (545) not cam (dang some thoughts dont write the same since my stroke) Rich ni South TX

Larry ,Did the same job your doin. Lots of heat on the cam and a heavy press. I used 40 tonner. It fits on splines on the shaftlike the arms. Goes back together kinda slick with a press. As fer the yoke ,lots of soak with blaster or liquid wrench. I took the 3 bolts out of the plate on cover end of spring then disconnected control link inside the cover , worked the spring assy out the back hole and was able to dissasmble yoke and spring in a vise.
