Take the fan belt off and see if it goes away,if it dont go away it is in the engine somewhere,if so check the crank pulley first see if it is rubbung on something.

Al,
I put an engine in a piece of logging equipment, and the radiator was recored. When it was started up and run at around half throttle it made a heck of a squaking noise, thought the engine was going to blow again. Come to find out it was the air being sucked through the new core. When the outer screens were put on that slowed the air coming through and stopped the squak.

Just a thought.
Jim

Is the squeek happening when you are moving? Mine squeeked a high pitch when I replaced the king pin and bushing. I did not grease or oil it as folks suggest. I ended up putting a squirt of oil on the king pin and the squeek went away.

You say it squeaks only when running? If it isn't the fan belt or water pump, check the distributor cam. Had experienced a Jubilee one time that squeaked like that, a little lube onthe dist. cam stopped it.
