Which Front Tires - with loader?

I'm putting new tires on some new 16" rims and am interested in the collective opinions on which are the best tires to run with the added weight of a loader. I'm looking at 6x16. Here is an ad on Ebay. Is this a good deal?

My tractor will be used in the mountains where the soil is typically rock hard. I'm want to make the steering as easy as possible.

Thanks for any input.

I ran 15" radial tires on mine that were foam filled. Tired of flats and weight on air tires. Foam tires are hard and easier to turn then the ribs. Just my thought.

Paul - When you say foam, what product are you referring? This is a new one for me. We use a product called "Slime" to ward away the flats but it is gooey substance that just stays in the tires until its needed (an air hole developes). Sounds like this foam is used instead of air pressure (?).

Thanks,

I WOULD PERSONILLY get 3 ribbed tires. oringilly they had 1 rib on them. if you have the single rib on the tractor now. i would perchus 3 rib's... like the ones on ebay.

Yes, I will go with the three rib if I go that route. I'm most concerned with steering ability (ease). I'm curious if the LT bias ply truck tires make it harder or easier to steer with the added weight? I'd think harder since you have a larger contact patch (less unit loading) with the ground. But, I'm hoping to hear some first hand experience here.

Thanks,

Phil B.
