Alvin,
I paid $90 plus a 150 mi. round trip to Iowa for a Dearborn 19-6 rear scoop. It is very clean and has been used little in it's 40+ years. Painted the wrong color though but good tag.
Having used it to move about 60 - 70 yards of dirt last summer I would gladly pay more than that if I needed one. They are incredibly efficient and easy to use. It is one of the handiest tools I have in my collection.
Jerry

I paid $75.00 for a Dearborn scoop in pretty good shape. I painted it, added Dearborn decal and now use it at parades and shows.
I agree on the used price formula: used worth no more than 1/2 new price. In some instances, a rare or exceptional item could command more but I don't think the Dearborn scoops fall into this category.

Hello fellas, I got some good seat time in yesterday. Had to plow some snow for the first time. 2 feet came down of wet and heavy snow. I was really impressed with the 'ole girl. The 8N really does some hard work.
Does anyone have a picture of the dearborn slip scoop?
Thanks....Randy

I have seen them going for $150 and up here in Michigan. Depends on who's at the auction.

I believe Dearborn quit building them about 40 years ago. If you ever use one, you will not want to use any other brand. alvinnms
