There is four day auction in Headland Alabama. It is the biggest one in the area starting next Tuesday and lasting thru Saturday night. Also the local tractor club is showing antique tractor. Not sure if the show is four days. Bunch of old Fords,Farmalls,Deers etc. for sale at auction. Anyone interested may be able to find a room in Dothan. You can fly your small plane directly into the auction site. And inspect the estimated 15 million of stuff.

My last time in Dothan was 1967, compliments of the US Army, for aircraft maintenance at Ft. Rucker. I had quit flying in 1965. I've tried on two occasions to buy tractors farther away. Once on Maui, Hawaii and once in Eugene, Oregon. Same problem as Dothan, shipping. I guess I have to continue to look closer to home to find what I want.

Rusty,
Do you have anymore information on the auction? I was unable to find anything on the net about it.

Thx, Dave

"You can fly your small plane directly into the auction site."

And just how do you get the tractor you bought home... Strap it to a wing????

Smiles.
