Did in fact the Sherman Bros. or other company manufacture an accessory device, that when installed, converted the Jubilee / NAA to "live" pto mode? I assume if true, it was an add-on similar to the Sherman transmissions. What was it called and is it possible to find one? They must be quite rare.

Are there other reputable "live pto" conversions available?

Thanks for any information in this regard.

Sherman didn't make a live pto kit for the NAA but it was a Ford (Dearborn) option from the factory in '53-'54. Pretty rare to find one and expensive when you do. Nobody else makes one that I know of. If you really need live pto, find a 660-661 or 860-861 Ford. The 2 stage clutch in those was a much better design than the rear lever to operate the Dearborn option on the NAA.

John Sherman made a manual operated unit for the NAA. It is basically the same unit as the one for the 8N. I have one for the 8N and the NAA plus the parts manual for them. Later Tractor Rod

Tractor Rod, do you know of either a Sherman or the Dearborn PTO conversion unit for sale? Contact me by email address. Thanks.
