I hate those listings: for sale "FORD", not deere, farmall, kubota and not Allis. That way a search for any of the others brings it up.

Yesterday I found a 7400 John Deere on E-Bay ( under my ford heading???) I don't know how it got in there. $9,500 buy it now with shipping Included Midwest. Since that included shipping I sent him an E-mail- the tractor looked very sharp and at a good price. When I ask him where I could see the tractor- it is in the Netherlands. He wanted me to send the money by Western Union. Those guys just won't give up.

At least the bid price is lo so far... Looks like it needs some work... I don't know about it being 'parade' ready like they claimed. The 3pt is missing the link arms as well... And I like the 'bass-master' seat addition... says classy tractor all over it.

Though is better than one I saw today. I ran by the local JD dealership. they had a used 650 on the lot... someone actually cut and welded an auditorium style metal folding chair into the operatos platform area. You know.. like those folding all metal flat seated chairs schools use...

I'm always amazed at how many auctions piggyback the Deere name, so the ebay search engine brings them up in that category.

A while back on ebay, someone had listed a HIT-AND-MISS steam engine. That would have been something to see!

Yep.. I love that stuff too. They throw a name out there to get the association.

Half the time they have no idea what they have.. or only know enough to be 'dangerous'. The other half I'm convinced are scheisters...
