I have a prototype here for the new replacement shifter cables for the Sherman step up. They look great. Should have them on the market in 8-10 weeks. Contact me then and I can fix you up with one.

7783..... ....Sherman trannys are relative "bullett-proof" except for the cable shifter. The cable rusts inside the sleeve and NO REPLACEMENTS. The other common wear item is the input shaft seal, which is the same p/n 8N-7052-A input seal for all N-Tractors. $3 cheap..... ...Dell

While they no longer make the cable the other parts should be available. Go to the Smith Tractor Site at www.8nford.com To identify your Sherman.
