When shoping for the decals, you will probably find two types. The modern reproduction adhesive stickers, as well as the more original water transfer decals.

I've used both. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. Obviously the adhesive stickers are easier to install. and don't care 'as much' about slight surface imperfections, and are just a tad bit tougher when it comes to abrasion. However once they start to lift, they will eventually come off.
The water transfer decals make you go back to those skills we had/used as children putting decals on models.. etc. They form to surfaces, and are thin.. but more original.

I've used the 'stick' on type on my 8n and NAA, and am going to try the water decals on my 2n.
