Do all 8N's have or require the 535Arocker to hold the top link? Mine doesn't, it has a "L" shaped bracket attached to the spring. FO 4 shows one, but what is its' purpose? Was it to aid in setting the 'draft' when plowing?
Also where does the choke rod go? Does it go under or over the oil line "T"? Grand pa's solution of 6 lengths of 'baling wire' twisted togather have finally rushed through.
Thanks for the help in advance. Bob

Bob..... ...the 8N-535-B 3-hole rocker couples the 3-point implement draft force to the 8N's hydraulic lift valve scheme. The 3-holes act like mechanical amplifiers to the hydraulic response time. DO NOT USE the top hole as it'll tear the gutts out of your hydraulic control linkage. As to why you have a "L"-brackett, beats me, but I'd guess that some previous owner broke the original rockerarm thru abuse. The 9N/2N rocker is a 1-holer and is NOT INTERCHANGEABLE.

Oh yeah, new choke rods are available, $10 cheap..... ..Dell
