anyone tell me the very best lube to break loose Parts on old rusty nuts, bolts, lift arms such as on my 2n, and the threaded adj rod that goes thur the contol spring to adj the control spring, etc etc etc. And where do I get it. Thanks

Never used Kroil but I know PB Blaster is excellent.Good Luck....R.M. In AL.

Kroil is excellent for disolving rust and penerating. Probably one of the best.

I have removed 2 stuck ones the following way. 1 soak in P B Blaster. 2) Use a large socket that fits over the nut and apply torque with an air wrench. At the same time get out the torch and heat the nut up. As the heat builds the nut starts to turn. In both cases I caused no harm to the guts of the hydraulic controls. it was the heat that made it possible in both cases.

My favorites are the same as Steve's, Kroil and PB Blaster. I don't know if the sponsors of this site has the rod or not but it is available. Be careful trying to break that loose because you can cause damage to other components.
